The last day of March already? You should know what that means by now. Another April, another NaPoWriMo (you know, the only reason this blog exists, emerging every Spring like a bed-headed grizzly bear...).
In case you're new to my little corner of the blogosphere, though, NaPoWriMo is National Poetry Writing Month, a challenge to write 30 poems in 30 days: one for each day in April. I've been doing this for a few years now, and it is always so inspiring to both produce and consume new poetry, I had to have another go this year.
Also, on top of that, I will be participating in another year of The Big Poetry Giveaway 2014! There will be an official post coming with all the details later this week, but suffice it to say for now, if you like poetry and like winning free books of said verse, then this contest is one to keep an eye on. In the meantime, you can read all the details at Kelli Russell Agodon's blog.
Anyway, settle in and get ready for another amazing month of mind-bending wordsmithery and verschemy. I'm quite looking forward to it.
